I’ve been using this for two weeks and decided it was definitely time to do a review.
I ordered this from Sephora after hearing great things about it. I purchased the smaller travel size BB cream to try it out. It was $14 for .50 oz and the full size was $34 for 1.18oz (available at Urbandecay.com or Sephora.com)
At first I was a little concerned when it first came out of the tube, I thought it was going to be way too dark for me (it had an orange tint in the tube). When I put it on, it matched perfectly. I’m in between the shades 3.5 and 4.0 in Naked Foundation (depending on how much I’ve been outside).I have large pores and after I put this BB cream on my skin it was flawless! It’s perfect for summer when you don’t want to wear a heavy foundation.I have been just using a little under-eye concealer, Urban Decay Naked skin BB cream and setting it with Rimmel Stay Matte powder and it stays put. My face feels smoother, and I’ve noticed less imperfections.
- Easy to blend
- Minimizes pores
- Good for combination skin
- SPF protection
- Gave my skin a nice dewy glow
- Only comes in one shade (right now)
- A little runny
Verdict: I will be buying another when I run out of this one.
What’s your favorite BB cream?

My blush beauty mystery box has arrived! It’s a newer monthly subscription service that includes full-size, travel size and sample products. It is supposed to be valued at over $100.00 every month. You can pay $24.95 for the monthly subscription or can purchase a one time box for $34.95. It has a little bit of everything in the box : Cosmetics, Hair products, skin care, and this box even came with a cute bracelet!
When I opened my box there was my black drawstring bag full of my mystery goodies, and a sample by Vichy laboratories of Cellu destock(cellulite treatment cream).
What was in my box:

Colors are in: Jello Shot, BDAY in Cabo, Seafoam, Dream Catcher
Cailyn Cosmetics Line-FX Gel Eyeliner – (full size) Value $21

I paid $34.95 for this box and received over $100 worth of products.
I was pleasantly surprised with this box! I loved the mini nail polish colors (perfect for summer). The eyeliner was really creamy and glided right on when I swatched it and seemed really pigmented. I also loved my bracelet and can’t wait to use my coupon that was included in the box! What did you get in your box?

Today I received the Julep Maven “It girl” intro box in the mail! I honestly did not think about subscribing to this box until I found out there was a promo for a free box (all I had to do was pay the $3.95 shipping) . I can’t resist a good deal! The packaging is so pretty! I used the Promo: Freemaven which I think still works.
In this box I received:
- Abbie: Sunshine yellow creme ($14.00)
- Mackenzie:Sour apple green frost ($14.00)
- Eden: bright violet creme ($14.00)
- Julep.com Nail file ($1?)
One-step polish remover pad sample ($0.99)
Value total in this box = $44.00
Julep is a monthly subscription box that comes with nail products and sometimes other beauty products. It costs $19.99 per month. It is supposed to have at least a $40 value in each box. They send you an email on the 20th of the month to preview the upcoming Julep maven box. If you like what they’ve chosen for you, you don’t have to do anything further, you’re box will be on it’s way. If you like the style of one of the other boxes, want to send it to a friend or just want to skip the month altogether (and the $19.99 charge) you have that option as well. You’re charged the 27th of each month. If you cancel you have to call 1-877-651-3292 you can’t cancel online. I also like that you receive 20% off all products.
- I like that you can skip a month
- You personally pick out what is shipped to you
- beautiful packaging
- amazing colors
- Not as much product as I imagined for the 19.99 box (bottles are 8ml)
I can’t really complain too much. I only had to spend $3.95 for this whole box and it was processed and delivered to me in less than 4 days from the West Coast to my home on the East Coast. I’m going to give this box a couple months to see if I love it or not. Hope you all loved the review!
